Welding Coordinator Rail Infrastructure

About the role

As Welding Coordinator Rail Infrastructure you manage welding projects in the Dutch railway network. You coordinate projects, advise based on your expertise and ensure qualifications of staff. You manage KPIs, plan activities and maintain contact with internal teams, clients and grid operators. A responsible full-time position in employment.

Responsibilities

• Advising based on welding technical expertise
• Ensuring qualifications and certifications of staff
• Managing KPIs and monitoring quality standards
• Planning activities and coordinating with internal teams
• Maintaining contact with clients and grid operators

Requirements

• MBO 3-4 level education, preferably with IWT/IWE course
• Experience in rail as a welder, or experienced thermite welder with ambition
• VCA-VOL certification
• Knowledge of ISO 3834-2, RLN 120 and RLN 127
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch
• Solution-oriented and flexible

Nice to have

• IWE (International Welding Engineer) qualification
• Experience with project management in rail infrastructure
• Knowledge of relevant rail standards and certifications
